ADDING SOMETHING?

Over the years, many characters have gone out of their way to customize their work and living spaces on the Barge. Things like public art, particular work tools, homemade entertainment systems, and communal pets have entered into Barge lore, but often haven't made it onto the settings pages. Adding every little detail about what can be seen/found in a space would bloat the page beyond easy usability, but we want to keep the setting accessible to everyone, so we're trying out something new: if your character has done something cool with a particular Barge space, or you're aware of a past character having made a customization that isn't reflected in the settings descriptions above, drop a comment under the appropriate header and let us all know!

Please note that while this is intended to be largely player updated and hands off on the part of the mod team, we will monitor the page, and reserve the right to step in if we have questions or concerns. The primary purpose of this is small aesthetic or flavor additions; anything large-scale is beyond the scope of these threads. If you're interested in having your character make any big, consequential changes or additions to the Barge's setting, feel free to hit up the mods for a chat! If you're unsure about whether what you're planning is big enough to warrant needing mod permission, please do err on the side of caution and ask.

Some other things to keep in mind:

- If you want your character to add something to an area that has supervising warden(s), please touch base with all the relevant players to make sure that they (and their character(s)!) would be on board.

- If your character adds something and then they are later dropped, we'll assume that those changes stick around unless we hear otherwise, and we won't automatically delete your info comment. However, in the case of warden supervisors customizing work spaces, future supervisors will have the freedom to make changes as they see fit; in those cases, comments with outdated information may be deleted.
