Inmates who were brought to the Barge against their will can remember as much or as little about their death as the player wants them to, so gaining clearer death memories would be fine. However, they would not remember anything between death and regaining consciousness on the Barge - if they arrived unwillingly, they would not have experienced a conversation with the Admiral. (For characters who arrived willingly, such as wardens or inmates who chose that option, they would not be able to remember any details of the Admiral's appearance or the exact words spoken, regardless of the means used to recover those memories.)
