Ah, I was under the impression that small objects could be removed from the Enclosure and used temporarily, but they would break down in a matter of days. Ford was told so IC by Steph shortly after his arrival (they were discussing using unicorn hair and taking hair from an Enclosure unicorn to make magic barriers), and that's something I've been using in a limited capacity (Ford being an inmate and only able to access the Enclosure with supervision). If I need to correct this, of course, I can work out an alternative and pass the information on.

But yes, Laura is hesitant to do the project there: she brought chickens back from Fantasia and is keeping them in the greenhouse, and she feels bad about taking up more space in that area. Wanting to use another location is for IC reasons on her part.
