OOCly I am definitely fine with Hange and Gertrude not breaking the setting in any kind of big way, and leaving the barge 98% mystery! I'll be thrilled on my part if they just get to find out some funny/cool/silly things. It's also IC for both characters (I think) to continue poking around at things and messing about til they see results happen.

If they request a barge replica and specify that there be an engine room key sitting on a table in the cafeteria would they be able to get one that way? Hange for her part would have no problem banging on the engine room door and asking the warden on duty to contribute to the project, but she'd rather depend on as few moving parts as possible. If the enclosure will not produce a key for them, that's cool too.
