I haven't been able to find anything out about this, but how is it determined whether the character will be a Warden or an Inmate? Does it depend on their canon actions or at least partially on player desire? What if their motives and allegiance aren't entirely clear in canon? The character I would like to play could potentially be considered more Inmate material, but a closer examination of things in canon shows it might not be so cut-and-dry. His rival, for instance, is clearly torturing people in his mine, but my character is never shown to do this. He likes money, clearly, and he leads one of two groups trying to get control of a mining town, but he and his friends don't appear to bully the townsfolk as, again, his rival's men do. His name in the original Japanese also means Protector, which feels significant to me, as in canon, when he loses to his rival, the town falls into complete chaos under the rival group. He was the only thing keeping it together in any form.
