Jedao is a paranoid motherfucker who takes Engine Room security very seriously! He will be Extremely Disgruntled about the Admiral adding people to the roster without asking his approval, lmao, and entirely willing to kick people out if he thinks they are untrustworthy or might try to damage the barge - which could mean getting reassigned or just not having to come work at all. (I'm 100% happy to play this out.) Even inmates he lets stay will be monitored/supervised/not left alone in the Engine Room during his shifts, and if he finds out it's happening on other shifts, he'll be bossy and annoying about it.

In terms of actual work, though, he's much more chill: he's of the belief that the Engine Room just needs interaction and care for the barge to feel her best. He'll encourage people to do the things they like, not harrass them about missing shifts, teach them how to rotate the crystal arrays with lots of patience, low-key trash talk them for their scores in the arcade games.
