Vincent Valentine

Vincent runs a tight, but reasonably fair ship when it comes to the medical inventory. Inmates will not be let in unsupervised and he has made it clear they should not be on other shifts.

He has also, if asked, explained that this is not about whether one inmate is more trustworthy than another, but a general, blanket policy for security and safety.

He is in the staff office for paperwork and other issues at least six of seven days out of the week, from early morning to early afternoon- in the sense that he will return to his desk during those 'work hours' even if something calls him away.

He has tightened up the paperwork on withdrawals from the inventory and established a few sign-in sheets related to things like handing over the supervisor key and overnight withdrawals/use of inventory.

Vincent welcomes input of suggestions to try out unique-to-world items; on a request he tends to order a sample quantity and related literature that will go on file.

The supervisor key will be handed to one warden on shift, with a 'chain of custody' sign off sheet for each following shift he might not be present. He is very clear that no circumstances should that key exchange hands to anyone other than another infirmary warden and any exchanges should be documented.

Vincent is also clear that he is generally on call 24/7, barring major emergencies. It's also clear he takes security of the inventory and the infirmary and its adjacent areas very seriously.
