PLAYER PLOTS

Please fill out the following short form ahead of murders, serious public violence, and setting destruction committed on the ship. Information about setting destruction and public, difficult-to-miss violence must also be posted on the OOC comm (you can just link to your comment here, if you'd like).


<b>Who:</b> What characters are going to be involved, either as perpetrators or victims? If an inmate is going to be either the perpetrator or the victim, please make sure to loop in the player of their warden. <b>What:</b> Briefly summarize what's going to happen. Please be sure to include information about noise level, evidence left behind, etc., where relevant. <b>Where:</b> Where is this going to happen? If it's going to take place in a public space that has warden supervisors, please loop them in. <b>When:</b> When is this going to happen? <b>Outcome:</b> If all the details aren't set in stone yet, that's okay! The most important points here are 1) making sure that if any characters end up in Zero, at least one Zero warden is notified, and 2) making sure that if any characters end up in the infirmary, at least one infirmary supervisor is notified.
Additionally, if your warden provided powers or weaponry to an inmate who went on to use them to wreak havoc, please also fill out the following form!

Warden in question: Trevor Belmont
Inmate in question: Max Thompson Jr.
Are the above warden and inmate paired?: No
What was the damage?: Trevor cornered Max and beat him up, breaking Max's arm and punching his head. Lester Sheehan broke it up.
Any extenuating circumstances?: Anger about so many people being killed by Max in this log, including one of his precious inmates on Monster Breakfast Crew. Coupled with Trevor reading Sheehan's post and growing irritated at the way Sheehan handled the initial incident. Additional "what do you mean you know me from the future and killed me" conversation here. No intent on killing but definitely went way too far on someone who was no longer a threat.
Proposed/preferred punishment for the warden?: No preference, surprise me! If this is a demote-able offense, I may need to loop in Blitzo's player as Trevor's permanent inmate.

This is definitely right on the line of demotion, given that he attacked and seriously injured an inmate who wasn't an active threat at the time and wasn't fighting back against him.

Given that there are extenuating circumstances from a very recent murder spree by the victim, he can get away without a demotion but the Admiral is going to be pulling him aside for a very serious warning, the gist of which is that if Trevor does anything even close to this again, the Admiral is going to consider him a danger to the inmates and demote him.

Definitely! I had a weird thought after posting this: what if Trevor for right now stays a warden but after Blitzo either graduates or disappears from the ship, he has to be demoted? As a sort of 'delayed sentence' period.

Thoughts? Too outlandish?

The Admiral wouldn't impose a delayed demotion sentence -- first, if he thinks that Trevor's dangerous enough that he should be demoted, then he wouldn't let him stay a warden period, much less for a potentially extended period of time, and second, it does make the incentives weird (that is, Trevor's being effectively punished for graduating his inmate, which is the opposite of what the Admiral generally wants to do.)

That said, if you're looking for some more serious punishment for Trevor than a "This Is Your Only Warning" as a result of this, the Admiral could revoke Trevor's weapons privileges -- disappearing all the weapons he'd previously requested, removing all weapons from his rooms/person in the way he would for incoming inmates, and not granting weapons requests from him (although non-weapons requests would still be allowed.)

I like that a lot, but I also want to chat with Rowan real quick because you're right, this is very borderline and I want to see if demotion is something they can work with.
