PLAYER PLOTS

Please fill out the following short form ahead of murders, serious public violence, and setting destruction committed on the ship. Information about setting destruction and public, difficult-to-miss violence must also be posted on the OOC comm (you can just link to your comment here, if you'd like).


<b>Who:</b> What characters are going to be involved, either as perpetrators or victims? If an inmate is going to be either the perpetrator or the victim, please make sure to loop in the player of their warden. <b>What:</b> Briefly summarize what's going to happen. Please be sure to include information about noise level, evidence left behind, etc., where relevant. <b>Where:</b> Where is this going to happen? If it's going to take place in a public space that has warden supervisors, please loop them in. <b>When:</b> When is this going to happen? <b>Outcome:</b> If all the details aren't set in stone yet, that's okay! The most important points here are 1) making sure that if any characters end up in Zero, at least one Zero warden is notified, and 2) making sure that if any characters end up in the infirmary, at least one infirmary supervisor is notified.
Additionally, if your warden provided powers or weaponry to an inmate who went on to use them to wreak havoc, please also fill out the following form!

Who: Elias, librarians, other Bargians.
What: Trying to set the library on fire, maybe with someone in it? Elias is mad. He's also going to be looking into doing murders or violence on people because why not.
Where: The library for the fire. TBD for any murders or violence.
When: tbd, late April probably. I'll put up an ooc post closer to the time if I run with the idea.
Outcome: Elias will definitely end up in Zero, thanks April tempwarden.

This is still in the plot workshop phase, but I'd like to know what steps Elias would have to take to temporarily disable or sabotage any anti-fire measures in the library? Are there sprinklers? Are the doorways easily blocked, etc. He'd want to look into this before going at it.

Due to the books (paper, etc.), the fire suppression system uses extinguishers rather than sprinklers! In terms of pathways, the library itself is a bit of a maze, as described on the settings page. From a mod perspective, we're okay with him successfully blocking exits, damaging extinguishers, etc.; however, as the library is an area that staffs many characters, please do plot judiciously with all of them and make sure your plans work for them, as we don't want anyone to feel that their characters are godmoded into complacency or inattention.

Hey mods! Just thought I'd officially update this. None of the details have been changed but I have more specifics!

Who: Elias Bouchard, Daniel of Mayfair, Douglas Eiffel and Jon Sims. Norton Folgate and Daniel Jacobi will be contacted about a plan to target the kitchen (since Elias hates Archer!!!) but that will be dropped since Envy got there first :'( . John Seed and Kirei will be contacted about helping but will decline. Dorian Gray will unknowingly be duped into helping distract Jon Sims. Sypha will ultimately arrive for fire control to stop the whole thing going up in smoke and to stop Elias escaping. Likely others will be caught in the fire and/or come to help.
What: Elias will lure Eiffel into the library and stun/incapacitate him, then block off the exits and set it on fire, having previously disabled the extinguishers. He'll then go after Daniel with the intent to harm him. Burning the library will hurt both Elias and Jon (knowledge!! the books! nooo!) but will hurt Jon far worse.
Where: The library!
When: I'll post it around the 1st/2nd of May, but set in the week after the end of the previous flood.
Outcome: Library damaged, multiple injured people, Elias definitely going to Zero, other outcomes tbd with regards to people being mad.

I've contacted the players of library staff and they're all good with the plot! I'll also put up an ooc post inviting others to either join in finding/fighting the fire/getting people to safety or being stuck in the library while it's on fire. Please let me know if there's anything that needs changing or if I've missed organising something obvious !

I WAS WRONG there's more

Norton Folgate will be putting a small explosive device in the Wardrobe! I'm still checking in with player of the second character who works there, but Martin and Norton's players are both ok. This will be happening around the same time as the library fire.

The damage caused will be more on the cosmetic side than destructive. Elias will be making no effort to do anything to fire extinguishers or other things there. Anything which catches fire (Norton may specifically target any blue jeans) I expect will be quickly dealt with!
