It very belatedly occurs to me to clarify: that "fuck the Admiral, how dare he keep me here!!" attitude that Sebastian displays in my sample threads is 100% what his IC reaction would be even if he'd actually died in canon. It's that circular "I can't possibly die as long as my master needs me" logic he has, and it's going to be that way at least for a while initially.
