TLV - Admiral Requests

ADMIRAL REQUESTS

New Admiral Request Page Found Here

Post your requests to the Admiral below (and also a note if you would specifically like that request to be rejected), and we will get to them in a timely manner. All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

Afternoon адмирал. Uh I had a question...

[He's been meaning to ask it for a while (i.e. the thread about it was back in March, oh my god) but things kept coming up.]

Would it be possible to arrange a-- a brief trip off the ship for an inmate? Like say I wanted to show Yelena my ship, or Sweeney's warden wanted to show him a world where what people believe didn't affect him at all. Would that be possible? Or are inmates unable to leave at all, even supervised?

Not saying we gotta do it now, this is mostly just for planning purposes.

Damn. I was really hoping...

Is it more of a policy thing, or is it related to the actual status of inmates as, y'know, dead and tied to the ship?

Just-- so I know how to break it to 'em that it won't work.

All right. That's an easier sell than a policy thing, probably.

[There's a pause, then, because he can't help wanting to know now that the subject's come up:]

Just outa curiosity, is it proximity to the ship that makes leaving for ports possible? Or is there something different about ports compared to a random world somewhere else?

I thought that was probably it.

Thanks for answering, I appreciate it.
