All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

Do the current residents on board have any sway in who arrives? [He feels like it does, but he wants confirmation. But secondly...]

And if a resident on board knows someone is alive after the point an inmate believed they died, does that mean the newly arrived inmate is from an alternate timeline?

Not by request to bring people here, but... does it affect your decision. Are you more likely to bring people here if there are others from the same world on board.

If Cain graduates after I've graduated my inmate, does my deal affect his timeline too? Or just mine.

More likely, yes, but not because it affects my decision. It's a matter of logistics. Sometimes a world, or cluster of worlds is...easier to reach, for a moment. Sometimes already having a passenger sustains a tether that makes it easier to rescue someone else.

So it is statistically more likely, but not because I'm choosing by preference. I'm throwing the life preservers at whoever passes in range. And since you were in range, that means it's more likely that eventually, a version of him was, too.

As for affecting both worlds, that would depend on the nature of the deal. It's not impossible.

[Life preservers. Sure. He's still not convinced he isn't being played, with, but he isn't sure he'd get a straight answer if he tried pushing more, and being anything less than polite to his CO isn't an option right now.]

Specifically, if ask for the end of the war in the Alliance's favor, would that be true for both timelines, or would that require two separate deals?

Yes, that should be possible to address...at the root, as it were. In a way that would affect both.

He has another question, but he's not sure he trusts himself to ask it right now. If Cain was here, what happened to him in the alternate dimension? Was he also dead? And if he was...would he be able to keep that information secret until he could fix it so he didn't have to go home to nothing when he graduated? Best to ask at some later date, when a solution was closer. He was a terrible liar anyways.]
