Post your requests to the Admiral below (and also a note if you would specifically like that request to be rejected), and we will get to them in a timely manner. All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

I would accept a request from the monitor for unassigned inmates.

But also... there's a reason for this, my dear. Some of our inmates can be trusted with weapons and some can't. I expect an assigned warden to know which sort their inmate is.

Mmm. So even if their current warden trusts them, they could get their only defense taken away any given month because their new warden doesn't know them well enough?

What if it's only activated when there's a dangerous third party on board, like what happened just before I got here?

I do allow my wardens the latitude to do their jobs as they see fit. But I wouldn't require new permission to be given for an inmate to keep a weapon they already had.

[in other words: if a newly assigned temporary warden felt the need to take away all of their inmate's weapons, he would not stop them.]

If you have someone specific in mind, simply have their warden speak with me.

So we're just supposed to... be okay with the people we're trying to help dying, because they don't know to ask, or don't want to, or their warden's in a coma, or doesn't get to know them well enough? When we might have saved them if they had a non-lethal defense?! Those are my friends we're talking about!

[She grimaces, rubbing her temple. Somehow she doesn't think the Admiral recognizes barter by combat, and she doesn't fancy her odds, anyhow. Even using proxies, he'd know better than who which people here are strongest.]

Fine! Fine. Get me one for Angel Dust. And make it look and work like the guns he's used to. I've been told they, uh, have a long barrel and spit lots of bullets? But as a stun-only phaser. He's out, so I'll keep it for him until we can talk.
