TLV - Admiral Requests

ADMIRAL REQUESTS

New Admiral Request Page Found Here

Post your requests to the Admiral below (and also a note if you would specifically like that request to be rejected), and we will get to them in a timely manner. All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

I understand that there are emotional issues in play. But there are people who want to remain - and people who'd want to leave. I'm well aware that 'voluntary' isn't on your list of requirements, but you could at least pretend to be willing to play ball.

Especially if the person you're dealing with is untrustworthy.

It's not about counting on anything. For one thing, I'd rather like to live, though that's not true of everyone.

It's about the nature of the arguments people are going to have for the next who knows how many years. The Cap'n hasn't shown himself in the best light, you could at least try to have a better showing.

Arguing with you is one thing.

The rounds of 'who did what' among 'us' is the bit that's going to be on the networks.

Will we? You're such an optimist.

That is the basis for the proposed switch.

Yes, that can make a nice shakeup in discussion: what is the most self-destructive pursuit.

It's nice that you're alive so we - by which I mean the ship as the whole - can continue our discussions on many important topics. ...Was the cruise ship just a bit too large? [Look, he has to ask the important questions on how they ended up here.]

Didn't buy the warranty, eh?

I'm sure it's on purpose. My phone always used to try to break right after the warranty ran out.

By the by, do you have any sort of advice on timing? It's all very well to tell a bunch of powerful and generally unstable people - said with greatest affection, it reminds me of home - to 'give 'em hell', but I'd prefer not to be literally on fire for a month.

What a reassuring metaphor.

I'll keep that in mind, thank you. A week of being on fire is far more tolerable.

It's a promise.
