Post your requests to the Admiral below (and also a note if you would specifically like that request to be rejected), and we will get to them in a timely manner. All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

Because it seems unfair that we should expect inmates to work without expecting wardens to set a good example.

My wardens have a job. It's being a warden.

I do expect that role to take priority over any other jobs they may take around the ship.

Suggesting that wardens aren't setting a good example if they don't have an additional position does devalue the fact that "Warden" already is a job, my dear.

Sir, I understand that this ship and all others like it are powered by change. Inmates are principally those changing, or at least intended to change; if this ship couldn't function without their presence, isn't 'inmate' also a job?

My dear, "inmate" is not a job because inmates have no duties, responsibilities or expectations.

I certainly hope they'll be able to change for the better, of course. But I hire my Wardens to fulfill certain tasks. Inmates are brought on board because I think we can help them.

I have an unrelated request regarding my cabin, if that's all right. I've learned some things about the Vault where I grew up and it's become an uncomfortable living environment.

[What she has is something of a vision board with a floor plan at the center: it's essentially a two-bed apartment with an open plan kitchen/living/dining space. There are some additional aesthetic notes and specific requests for high ceilings in the living area, plus furniture Stolas will find comfortable.]
