Post your requests to the Admiral below (and also a note if you would specifically like that request to be rejected), and we will get to them in a timely manner. All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

An inmate. I would like to restore her vision, but understandably she is not interested in a temporary cure, that would leave her at a disadvantage were she to depart this place and find herself blinded again.

[His tone goes a little chillier, a little more formal.] Are you telling me that you do not know the assignments you yourself have made? [His inmate is very clearly not a blind girl, after all.]

And that you would put the physical health and wellbeing of a person exclusively in the hands of their assigned warden? I am not making a request regarding arming someone, or granting them back their powers, or even punishing them for some wrongdoing, I am asking if, should I heal a blind girl and give her sight back, she would be returned to her home upon graduation still able to see, or if she would be sent back blind again. [It seems a very simple question to him.]

[His voice is brisk and clipped, and he's deeply unimpressed.]

I would like to restore Taylor Hebert's vision. She is loathe to accept healing if it will only be limited to her time upon the barge, and risk becoming unused to navigating without her sight. A very reasonable consideration.

If I heal her, when she graduates would she return with her vision still restored or not?

And you do plan on using your own not-inconsiderable power for this, rather than requesting it be done by me, correct?

I do, yes. [He sees no point in asking the Admiral for things which he is fully capable of providing.]

Thank you, petal. In that case, her vision will remain restored, even if she should depart the Barge upon her graduation. Unless your healing has a habit of wearing off on its own, of course.
