Post your requests to the Admiral below (and also a note if you would specifically like that request to be rejected), and we will get to them in a timely manner. All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

[ There's a moment's pause. Because Dorian, in all his intense self-loathing, honestly believes that one day the Admiral will wise up. That he'll realize he made a mistake. That he'll realize Dorian's more fit to be an inmate and give him the boot. So hearing that the Admiral's fine to have him in his current capacity, as a warden, on the ship...that's unexpected.

When he talks again, he's trying to keep his voice nice and loose and devil may care but there's definitely a hint of actual worry and emotion in there. ]

If you're saying this just to butter me up, it's not working. I'm the problem child of the wardens and we both know it.

Oh no. That crown belongs to one Steven Grant Rogers no matter how many times he graduates.

[The admiral's tone is both deeply fond and gently, persistently exasperated.]

You could mud wrestle him for it, I suppose. But I suspect he's quite proud of the thing, and you don't sound nearly as keen. The fact of the matter is I don't need to butter you up, Mister Gray. You're doing fine.

[brushoff]

[ There's another pause. And then Dorian lets out a small little chuckle. He is never going to tell anybody this ever but that little bit of validation means a lot. ]
