All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

While I applaud your initiative, the communicators are very...basal, as a barge system. So the short answer is, yes, technically I could do that, but not without also making the barge more like the Clipper in other ways, which I am at present unwilling to do.

Regarding myself and the barge...that is a very complicated question. We're very deeply connected, but no, I'm not speaking out of both sides of my mouth.

As for the Authority...we've gotten a rather poor view lately, haven't we? Unfortunately, Зайчик, disrupting their operation is well above my pay grade. But overall I do believe their effect is...more neutral than recent encounters would suggest.

[Well, shit. B's not sure how adding an alarm button would turn them Clipper-ish, but he's also not aware of the intimate workings of this place, and he's got no reason to think the Admiral would lie about that.]

Since I absolutely don't want to emulate the Clipper in any way, either, I guess I'm back to square one on the alarms then. I really think it'll help cut down on the murders, if somebody can just press a button and alert half the ship, but supplies aren't easy to get. Any ideas, or should I just hope you've got a good port for us where I can buy up a couple hundred little car alarms?

Thanks for the rest. I don't need the details, but it's good to know I can talk to the both of you as your own people, after a fashion. You probably know I'm pretty fond of the old lady.

I'm not sure it's neutral for the individuals. Are there other ships that are actually decent out there? Where you don't have to lie and pretend to get out, or have limbs cut off?

You should certainly be able to get....something. See what you can find, and we can discuss other supplies needed after.

And no, not neutral for individuals at all. But I will say the ones who responded to the Authority's call for assasistance in managing my decomission were...self-selected. There are better barges out there. I'm a bit flattered you think I qualify.

Well, you aren't fooled by appearances, and you seem like you actually care about us. The Judge just wanted to punish people, and the Nurse just wanted us to act a certain way without actually changing for the better. And threatened to pick us up again if we lapsed. I'd call that better.

How come you wound up picking up so many version of me? If that's a thing you can answer. It might not be, but I've been wondering. I know Steve wonders about it a lot, too.

It's just...very hard to describe. The closest way I can put it is to say that you are...slippery. Metaphysically speaking.
