Post your requests to the Admiral below (and also a note if you would specifically like that request to be rejected), and we will get to them in a timely manner. All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

Can you restore some of 'er powers? Let 'er shapeshift, at least, it must be like being trapped in a bag, poor girl. Maybe without the ability to impersonate anyone that's already 'ere. That ought to rule out any extreme shenanigans.

I know it's probably not really my place to ask this, since Jedao isn't my inmate, but we got married, and I was hoping that... that I could have a set of beskar'gam for him as a wedding present? Like the set he gave me for Christmas, but, uh, obviously in his size. And in black.

Granted, Mister Fives, with the note that since you're now married you're going to be removed from further decisions to do with Shuos Jedao as an inmate; rewards, requests, work assignments, general discipline or confinement in zero. To prevent conflict of interest those will have to come through Captain Holden in future.

Thank you for your attention to the matter, Doctor. While I commend Mister Flood on his initiative, unfinished business is something of a hazard of death. Trips like these are generally not possible, nor are they necessary. Every inmate is capable of achieving their graduation here. If I believed otherwise in his case, I would not have brought him aboard. Ultimately, responsibility for Mister Flood's redemption lies here, firstly with him and secondly between the two of you.

I also volunteer to work with him in a supervisory position. To that end, it would be convenient if my kitchen key worked all the time instead of only when a meal shift's warden is no longer on board.

Sir—As Mr. Flood has Graduated, I wish to revisit the Terms of my Deal—which is to say, I wish to know the permissible extent of a Request.

When I first came aboard the Barge, I asked for the Survival of Captain Francis Crozier and the Inuk lady Silna. If this is granted, may I also know what their Fates are?

Furthermore, is my own Disposition—where I go when I choose to depart this place—also subject to a separate Deal?

[ Not that the Admiral's answer will change Harry's decision to stay on as long as Tris is here. But the possibility has crossed his mind that merely asking for Crozier and Silna to live may not be enough. And he's also still wrestling with the question of whether or not he dares ask for more—or even for the lives of the entire expedition. Blanky's arrival has complicated this question considerably. ]

In terms of the fulfillment of your deal, Captain Francis Crozier could be saved and placed safely in reach of rescue. Lady Silna is not in any need of saving, having already survived. She has been cast out by her people for her failures. And as for your plans for your own future - when you choose to leave the Barge, you may go anywhere you like. The universe is open to you.

I would like to request the partial restoration of Mr. Nokov's powers, as follows:

1) The ability to subsist without food or drink;
2) The ability to traverse the Barge without discomfort due to bright lighting;
3) Physical strength comparable to mine, or to the average adult human male in good health and fitness;
4) The ability to generate darkness, to a range of one foot in any or all directions, and;
5) The ability to send messages through shadows, strictly limited to the current wardens and inmates of this Barge, without causing injury or harm to the recipient.
