Post your requests to the Admiral below (and also a note if you would specifically like that request to be rejected), and we will get to them in a timely manner. All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

I have some questions that I hope you'll be willing to answer, since you were gracious enough to answer Connor's. I have also prepared a batch of cookies-- which I made myself, [ she adds wryly,] --as I understand you have a fondness for them. If you let me know where to leave them, I'd be happy to.

I appreciate any clarifications you're willing to provide. In particular, question five is pertinent to the willingness of an Inmate I know to work toward graduation; your assurances as to the nature of our work would be welcome.

    1. Can we change our own futures after we return to our homes, or do we create another timeline?
    2. Are people from separate times who know each other actually from separate dimensions?
    3. If Wardens ask for contradictory deals, does it create separate dimensions?

    5. What is the overall purpose of this Barge? What do you get out of it?
    6. Where do you get the power to grant deals, and are there any kinds of deals you would not be able to grant?
    7. What methods of censure are open to us for Wardens who abuse their powers, other than demotion for killing an Inmate?

Thank you, Ms. Organa. I assure you that your baking efforts are appreciated, but if you would leave them in one of the common rooms for your fellow passengers to enjoy, I would be much obliged.

Now, about your questions.

1. You can always change your futures, Princess Organa. This is one of the great benefits of being alive.
2. Think of people from different places in your three spatial dimensions. Latitude is different from altitude, but are they separate? Where is the boundary between them?
3. Consider a train, diverted onto a new track with all souls aboard. Does diverting the train create a new path? If you dig a canal and change the course of a river, what happens to the water already downstream? There are deep structures and resonances in the world. It is the nature of an axle - an axis - to be both fixed and turning. I am not trying to be obscure, but you don't even understand your own question. What you perceive as contradiction isn't, but it also can't be simplified in a way you can see.
4. It's right there in the names. Breaches flow into us. We step into ports.
5. Opportunity.
6. Some of them require rather more work than others. If you'd like to change your current deal, I'd be happy to vet any new request.
7. Get creative.

I recently made the acquaintance of a young woman who came aboard not long ago. As an inmate, she has been deprived of her natural powers, and the lack of them is clearly a hardship to her. I have been told that you only honor requests for the return of powers made by an inmate's warden, either temporary or permanent, however, I would like to respectfully request that you grant Ulla the return of her magic, as well as provide her with a narwhal horn for use in transforming herself.

I will of course stand surety for her responsible use of her magic, and will restrain her and request she be stripped of her powers again should she endanger others through her use of them.

Admiral, I have a request. I want a switch in my cabin that can activate and deactivate a power suppression field, like what's in Zero.

But the switch can't look anything like the light switches, because accidentally switching the wrong switch could potentially be very bad. In fact, if the power suppression switch could be a two step process, just to make absolutely sure that it wouldn't be switched on or, especially, off unintentionally, that would be dolly.

Is the violence she demonstrates towards other passengers necessary? Did she come to you and talk about any kind of solution for it?

Hey, boss...Person. Got a question. So, this month's inmate of choice is Ulla, and she's got a problem. Most notably that she's an aquatic girl living in a landwalker world and needs to Little Mermaid herself up some legs.

So if you can find it in what I'm guessing passes for a heart to let her have access to her magic (bet you'll never hear me say that without making a face again) so she can do that without undue hardship that is extremely unfair considering how many floors this ship has, that'd be super duper awesome.
