Post your requests to the Admiral below (and also a note if you would specifically like that request to be rejected), and we will get to them in a timely manner. All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

As for that device... I could give you something that would work here on board. If you want it to function beyond the Barge, you'll need a deal, or something else that could power it beyond what I can do.

Sir, I just wanted to check what the protocol is these days for inmates leaving the ship in ports? I was just paired with Cain for the month, and I'd prefer he be able to ask whatever warden he's comfortable with to disembark if possible, rather than having to come to me.

Per this question on the plotting post, Yelena's going to bring, on two separate days, the following from the Barge out into the dawnlight:

1) A sliver of scorched planking from the Library. Hoping for a tidbit about its whole bigger on the inside thing, or about how/why the contents are chosen.

2) B's warden item. If this counts as sufficiently of the Barge, I'm hoping for something about the purpose of the wardens or the warden-inmate relationship. (Yelena herself is hoping to find out something about how permanent pairings are decided, but lol explaining "the players thought it would be neat" ICly.)

Apologies for the delay in replying!

1) Yelena will be able to See that the Barge was once told that people need books and so is bringing texts that have some kind of relevance to her passengers: books in languages they understand, books from roughly the same universe and time period, and so on.

2) This is going to let her See something about the item itself or its meaning to B, rather than something about the Barge's warden system overall -- you can check with B's player about what she might be able to glean!

[As the library shelves are repaired using the dawnlight, they will re-fill with books and other media. They may not all be exactly the same, or in the same places, as they were before they were damaged, but they will return.]

Hey, Admiral. Sorry to be a bother but, uh, could I ask for a couple more changes to my cabin?

Specifically, if the bathroom could be it's own separate room off of the main area instead of attached to my bedroom like it is, with a few of these changes [ She'll move the camera to show a design from a book that has a walk in shower and a nice tub] ...and a kitchen. It doesn't need to be too big, maybe (and she shows a small but well-equipped little kitchen design with lots of open shelf space, as well as a counter and stools at the end for eating at).

Um. Admiral, where I'm from my Manager uses... a device, to let me and the rest of the company safely use Identities and EGOs. It's called a LCB-PDA. I think it's specifically customized for their use, but is there some way I could get a version for my own personal use with the options I'm used to?

Oh, if possible, I'd like to turn down the cognitive overlay on the Identities so I can remember clearly what's going on and take them off when needed. Normally Identities kind of rationalize the situation to themselves, which is fine when the Manager can remove them, but I don't want to get stuck thinking I'm a Butler... ah, if that isn't possible, then just the EGOs would be fine.
