Post your requests to the Admiral below (and also a note if you would specifically like that request to be rejected), and we will get to them in a timely manner. All Admiral requests (with the exception of Inmate resurrections) must go through this post, and their approval cannot be handwaved. Additionally, requests will only be granted to Wardens.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Barge does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

Admiral, sir, I would like to request that my twin be allowed use of his powers when in my presence so that I might supervise his training in their use. I believe it will not be possible for him to achieve the redemption you offer without learning to properly control them, and I am capable of restraining him should he attempt to over-step.

This is not a request, exactly. But another warden thought I should inform you that I believe that any request for Bliss originates from John Seed, and that several wardens have serious misgivings about this substance being brought to the barge given what I've found out from him and others.

I believe he'd use the substance on others and given the permanent mind-altering qualities of the drug, I don't believe it is safe to have on board, especially in the hands of an inmate. I don't wish to block his religious observance, but he admitted to me that the substance isn't necessary.

To whoever it may concern, there's been an error with regards to the incarceration of one Mr. Rhys Strongfork. He has not, and has never, done anything worth more then a couple weeks of community service, tops. He also does not have time at the moment to entertain this error and the program that these facilities claim he needs to complete in order to leave.
We are hoping to resolve this issue as soon as possible, and are open to compensation for the inconveniences that have been caused.

This isn't really a request, as such, uh. Suppose it's more of an offer.

If you're going to land somewhere there's actual shops that need negotiating with, I'd... well, I'd be willing to provide some help, if that's a thing you'd think you need. My job was, in all real practical terms, getting things out of people for archiving purposes. Items, paperwork, that sort of thing. I got some pretty high level documents for a civilian. If there's a way you'd need someone with like, a proven track record with that sort of thing, I'd be available.

And there's a few people I can think of who might be able - and maybe even willing - to help out with that too.

If you can manage without it being too much of a shitshow, can you expand the greenhouse at some point? We'd do it ourselves, but unless you want us to start cannibalizing parts of the ship for it, I think we're kind of fucked on the 'constructing it ourselves' part. Any small bit would help.

[It takes about half a day, but the request does eventually go through, and will remain in place indefinitely (i.e. until Tess requests that it be lifted). Each candy flavor that Carol might test will taste uniquely disgusting - lemon like vomit, grape like dog droppings, green apple like rotten meat (though minus the accompanying food poisoning), and so on.]

I realize we're trying to be careful about our requests of late but, I was wondering if I could make a small request of a couple of things.

The first is some actual black tea, please. I'm not picky but while the port had herbals, it didn't have anything that tasted quite right to me.

B-but more importantly, um, Daniel. The young man who works in the library. I'd like to request his lantern, please, specifically the one that he had from his world. He's mentioned that it would help him to feel more comfortable and settled and I don't see any reason he should be without it.

Hello again. I realize this is two in as many weeks practically but I would like to request a change in the accommodations given to my inmate, Daniel.

Specifically, I was wondering if you could give him a modern room with a proper bed, dresser, desk, shelving, and ample lighting with a dimmer to help him to sleep. He has a- well, I’m sure you know he’s quite afraid of the dark such that he was unable to sleep in his current accommodations.

He’s staying in my guest room at the moment so should you need a rough framework to work from, that should suffice.
